Experience connecting sales, project delivery, procurement and people; building scalable processes that strengthen accountability, elevate relationships and drive sustainable business growth

Meet Callie Nguyen-Stowe

Callie Nguyen-Stowe, CALHANS business consultant

My construction career began in 2009, with pool and outdoor-living projects that brought together design, sales, purchasing, scheduling and project management. That experience grew into regional management and corporate leadership, where I developed processes, supported revenue growth and led teams across multiple states.

My background includes luxury residential backyards, residential and commercial construction, and high-rise pool builds. I’ve managed as many as 150 construction projects concurrently, coordinating customer decisions, purchasing, schedules and field activity while keeping priorities and project handoffs clear.

As my career progressed, I took on broader responsibility for people and business performance. My leadership experience includes leading large, diverse teams in high-volume operations, overseeing an eight-state region and working alongside owners and corporate executives on staffing, operational priorities, revenue and growth.

I understand both the job-site conversation and the boardroom discussion. My responsibilities have included procurement, warehouse processes, vendor relationships, fleet, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, hiring, quality control and standard operating procedures. I know how decisions in one part of the business affect the people doing the work in another.

Experienced guidance. A collaborative approach.

You can expect thoughtful, constructive feedback and a clear explanation of why a change may help. We’ll build on what your team already does well, work through challenges together and develop practical steps that fit your business.

I also understand the trust involved in working in someone’s backyard. Strong employee relationships, clear expectations and consistent communication help your team deliver an experience customers feel confident recommending. That same care matters in relationships with builders, general contractors, subcontractors and vendors. My goal is to help you build alignment throughout your business and across the partners your projects depend on.

Support for the people behind every stage of construction

Whether you manage the full build or deliver one specialized part of it, clear scopes, dependable schedules and good working relationships help everyone succeed. We help connect owners, office staff, field crews, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers around shared expectations.

Sometimes the best way to understand a business is to spend time there. Let’s see how your office and field teams work, how the warehouse runs, how vendors support your schedule and how materials make their way to the job site.

Hiring & Candidate Screening

Purchase the hiring package

For additional roles or in-person attendance, request a custom quote.

One role; defined screening and interview limits

One role and one agreed hiring campaign: owner intake discussion; prepare and place one approved hiring ad; initial screening of up to 300 resumes against agreed job requirements; up to five 30-minute screening interviews; a shortlist with notes; and up to two one-hour final candidate screenings virtually, including personal reference checks using candidate-provided contacts with their permission. Your company makes the final hiring decision. Background screenings, drug screenings, certification checks and specialty licensing verifications are not performed. Advertising spend, travel and in-person attendance are quoted separately. Additional roles, candidates, interviews, reposting and ongoing recruiting require a separate quote. Screening is an initial qualification review, not a detailed written assessment of every resume. No placement or retention guarantee.

Team Roles & Employee Development

Up to 6 hours

Leadership discussion; organizational chart; responsibilities, reporting relationships and decision-making authority for up to five roles; one team conversation to explain expectations, handoffs and when to seek help; written recommendations and one consolidated revision.

Workflow & SOP Development

Up to 8 hours

Customer-Friendly Showroom & Office Organization

Remote review or an agreed in-person visit

Practical, experience-based recommendations to make your showroom welcoming, simplify customer selections and keep everyday office work organized. Option 1: review owner-supplied video footage and still photos, with a discussion of customer flow, displays, sample storage and daily work; written recommendations and one revision. Option 2: an in-person visit focused on the agreed office or showroom areas, organization and functional layout. We confirm the visit length, priorities, deliverables, fee and any travel before starting. Furniture and other purchases are agreed separately. This service focuses on functional improvements rather than a complete office redesign or construction drawings.

Contract Presentation & Handoff Review

Up to 3 hours; one document

Review one customer contract for layout, organization, presentation of scope and the customer handoff process. Provide presentation recommendations. No drafting of legal provisions, legal opinion or enforceability review.

Ready to grow your team, but don’t have the time to manage the hiring process?

We’ll start by getting to know you and your business—your leadership style, your team’s needs and what success in the role should look like. Then we’ll help prepare and place your approved job posting, review applications, conduct initial screening interviews and provide a focused shortlist. The package includes up to two one-hour final candidate screenings virtually and personal reference checks. In-person attendance can be arranged separately. Background screenings, drug screenings, certification checks and specialty licensing verifications are not performed. You make the final hiring decision; we help manage the groundwork and prepare a clear onboarding plan.

Subcontractor Operations & Trade Coordination

Give your crews a clear scope and a job they are ready to complete. We help organize bid-to-job handoffs, crew scheduling, site-readiness checks, purchasing, approved changes, completion records and billing follow-up. For pool builders, this includes clearer coordination among specialty contractors and subcontractors. For subcontractors, it means stronger communication with the builders and general contractors who rely on your work. Scope and fees are quoted for your business.

Vendor Management & Relationship Building

Build dependable supplier relationships through clear purchasing responsibilities, realistic lead times and consistent communication. We can help organize quote comparisons, order approvals, delivery schedules, receiving processes, shortages, returns and follow-up. The goal is to resolve issues constructively and strengthen the connection between your office, warehouse, field crews and vendors.

Commercial Bid Preparation & Proposal Organization

Preparing for commercial work starts with understanding what is being requested and whether it fits your business. We help organize bid invitations, submission requirements, deadlines, scope checklists, supplier and subcontractor quotes, exclusions and proposal presentation. We also help establish a repeatable bid-to-project handoff so commitments made in the proposal reach the people doing the work. Technical quantities, estimating assumptions and trade pricing must be verified by your qualified estimator or trade specialist; legal, engineering, code and safety decisions remain with the appropriately qualified professionals. Support is quoted by project and does not guarantee an award.

Choose your service package

Explore the service features and request the support you need. Callie will confirm availability, scope, fees and outside costs privately before you purchase. On-site engagements are customized; multi-service and repeat-role pricing are included in your proposal where appropriate. After you approve the proposal, you can pay through a Shopify payment link with the agreed total.

Select services & request a confirmed quote

The package tool prepares a service request you can print or email. We’ll confirm the engagement, schedule, fee and final terms together before payment or work begins.

A clear scope. The right expertise.

What about contracts, codes, engineering and safety?

We help with the way your business runs. Customer contracts can be reviewed for layout, organization, presentation of scope and the customer handoff process. Callie is not an attorney; this review does not provide a legal opinion or establish legality or enforceability.

For legal, tax, accounting, engineering, code, safety or licensed trade decisions, you’ll still need the appropriately qualified professional. Where suitable, we can recommend or refer established industry specialists. Their availability, scope and fees are agreed separately.

What can I expect from our work together?

Thoughtful, constructive feedback, respect for the experience you already bring and practical steps your team can use. We’ll recognize what’s working and make improvements together without expecting you to have every answer before we meet.

Let’s discuss your business.
